Sponsor a Child Program

Sponsor a Child is a kindness-driven program that provides education scholarships for orphans and underprivileged children in Indonesia. Sponsors commit to donating ¥5,000 per month to support a child’s education. As a sponsor, you are encouraged to commit for at least one year to ensure consistent support for the child’s educational needs.

What You’ll Receive as a Sponsor:

  2. Regular Updates about Your Child
  3. Reports on Their Educational Progress
  4. Online Meet & Greet Opportunities

Your Donation Covers:

  1. School Tuition & Fees
  2. Character Development Activities
  3. Academic Tutoring Support

Terms & Conditions:

  1. All personal data of sponsored children is confidential. Sponsors are not allowed to share this information or contact the child directly without written permission from Human Initiative Japan.
  2. Sponsors are expected to support their child for at least 6, 12, or 18 months, or until the child reaches adulthood, based on agreement.
  3. If a sponsor fails to donate for 3 consecutive months, the sponsorship will be considered ended, and Human Initiative Japan reserves the right to reassign the child to a new sponsor.
  4. Human Initiative Japan may reassign a sponsored child if:
    1. The sponsor discontinues donations
    2. The child becomes independent or no longer requires financial support
    3. The child no longer participates in Human Initiative Japan’s development program Aside from these specific cases, Human Initiative Japan is committed to maintaining a stable connection between each child and their sponsor.
