HI Japan and Indonesian Citizens Ride Together at Tour de Fuji-Yama 2025!
Human Initiative (HI) Japan joined the fun in the annual cycling event called “Tour de Fuji-Yama” on Saturday (April 19). This event is held every year and brings together Indonesian citizens (WNI) and local Japanese residents for a day of biking and friendship.
This year, around 30 participants joined the ride — both Indonesians and locals — cycling around the beautiful area near Mount Fuji. The route started and ended at Gotemba Station, covering about 23.5 kilometers.

According to Tokyo Updates, cycling around Gotemba Station offers stunning views of Mount Fuji. Even though there are no special bike lanes, you can enjoy riding while breathing in the fresh mountain air and admiring the natural scenery.
If you’re an Inisiator friend who enjoys cycling and wants to visit Japan, Gotemba Station is a great place to explore. As noted by pjammcycling.com, the Gotemba route is about 10 km long with an average elevation of 7.7%, making it perfect for a light to moderate challenge — with amazing views as a bonus.

“Tour de Fuji-Yama is a way to strengthen connection and build a positive spirit among Indonesians in Japan. We want to offer a healthy and fun activity through cycling,” said Chahyadi Asriyadi, the event coordinator.
